Christmas Day 2009

This Christmas day is coming to a close. It is what I would say "My quietest Chrismas yet". We started the season off with a trip to Alberta for Ed's 75th birthday. It was wonderful to see all of the family and friends. We were all very sad to have not been able to visit with Larry's oldest brother Bob. Bob had prior work commitments. Our young son Nik was able to meet up with us in Alberta. He has survived his first quarter at the Vancouver Art Institute. ( Only six more to go lol)Our visit with Nik will be short as he is off to San Jose to see his girlfiend Nichole. He will be back in class on Jan 4th. Nik is working on his Diploma for "Game Art & Design". He is really having a great time with his studies. Dorinda and the the kids spent Christmas with Ken at his parents home. I guess we have now come to the time in our lives where we have to start sharing our family with others. Can't really complain as we have had a good long run with them to ourselves. It is now time to finish off this Christmas evening with a nice soak in the Hot Tub to warm these chilled bones and then curl up to a movie and some delicious eggnog. Merry Christmas everyone.
